- Ripe peaches
Treat your children with this delectable dessert! Baked peaches. Also loved by adults 🙂
An appetizing way to enjoy your daily portion of fruit is to grill or bake it. Baking or grilling fruit releases the natural sugars, which makes the fruit extra sweet. Transforming already-scrumptious natural fruit into an even more delicious form.
Cut the peach in half and remove the pit.
Heat a skillet or frying pan, and lay the flat sides of the fruit halves onto the pan. Put a lid on it. After about 10 minutes the fruit is deliciously soft and sweet.
You can also make a batch on the front end of your BBQ, or in the oven. Place the fruit on aluminum foil, and fold tightly. Put it into a pre-heated oven (180 degrees) or onto the BBQ, for about 15 minutes.
Garnish with roasted almond flakes, mint leaves and a scoop of ice-cream, if you like.
This method is also yummy when used with bananas, apples, pears and nectarines.
